Update 1.03: The Last Update


This is the third and final in a series of micro-patches aimed at fixing a couple of bugs and adding some improvements for visual clarity, user-friendliness, and overall quality of life.

Since this game was created for a 4-day game jam, I do not intend to make any changes to the game design or add new content, in order to preserve the outcome achieved during the competition. If I decide to further explore these mechanics, it will be in a separate project.

So, unless I’ve missed any bugs, this is the final version of Disposal Facility for Failed Eldritch Horrors!

Thank you to everyone who has played it so far!

Changes:

  • Added controls and block descriptions to the pause menu.
  • Added a sound effect for opening and closing the pause menu.
  • New fonts for the UI.
  • The remaining blocks indicator now turns red when there’s only one block left.
  • Added a simple highscore system (the score persists across games in the same session, but resets upon page refresh/closing).
